Hendrik Jan Zonneveld

Hendrik Jan works in the broad field of mechanical engineering. He has particular expertise in process technology, energy technology, medical devices, consumer products and civil engineering, but also works with equal enthusiasm in other technological areas.

Hendrik Jan is a registered European, Belgian and Dutch patent attorney. In addition to representing his clients in procedures for grant or in opposition procedures before the respective patent authorities, he provides advice on patent and IP strategy, third party patents, know-how management, trade secrets, licensing and other IP-related matters, as well as support in legal proceedings. Hendrik Jan has experience as an in-house patent attorney at a multinational, but also in private patent practice and works with clients ranging from individual inventors and SMEs to universities and multinationals.

Hendrik Jan graduated in Industrial Design from Delft University of Technology and has a degree in Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam, with a master’s thesis on indirect patent infringement.
